We've had a busy May! On the very first day of the month, we celebrated mine and Joshua's 18th anniversary, Joshua's retirement, and his graduation from West Coast Baptist College! God has blessed us with so much and we just want to give Him all the praise and the glory!
This was also our first month of full-time deputation. Our days have been filled with phone calls, emails, and preparation for the rest of this year and into next. We have had 3 scheduled meetings in May (praising the Lord!), and when we aren't scheduled for a service, we drop in to worship with and try to encourage other churches. We've been so incredibly humbled and blessed by the love, encouragement, and support in every church we visit, and we pray we are giving those things back to the people we come in contact with. It is so amazing and awesome to me, to meet so many other believers out there who love the Lord and are striving to serve Him. And whose Spirit connects with the Spirit in me...instant family!
With the end of May is the end of our stay in our local area. God provided us with a place to stay near our home church these past few months and now He's given us a place in Roanoke, AL, to come back to throughout the rest of our deputation. We will be heading that direction a week from today, on our way to Ohio, New York, and even Alaska (what?!), and everywhere in between. We're sad to say goodbye, for now, to our family, friends, and church family here in Florida and Alabama, but so excited to visit with our family and friends further north!
Our homeschool has kept/is keeping us busy as well...we are winding down a lot of our school for the year, but will continue a few subjects throughout the summer until we finish. I'm thankful that we've been homeschooling all along instead of learning how now as we also figure out how to school while traveling. This has been a challenge for sure, but I've had the privilege to glean some advice and ideas from other missionary moms and "think" we are ready to start preparing for the next school year.

April Update
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable! The Lord is good! Thanks be to God for His good works unto the children of men. Hallelujah!
God blessed mightily at our first missions conference in Perry, Florida. As iron sharpens iron, so each countenance in our family was sharpened by our friends in the Lord. God opened two doors specifically: 1) travel options via the Wagons with Provisions or Missionary Flights International for our transition needs; and, 2) the opportunity for a deputation home with Chosen Vessel Baptist Missions. Praise God for these blessings!
We've been able to visit with and encourage in the Lord eleven churches in the last 6 weeks. At every new church, God gives our family time to share the ministry He has put us in. We have been so blessed. God uses His people to shower us with the love of Christ, hospitality, and generosity.
Praise the Lord we have all of our material together and are now finished with Bible school. All by the grace of God—Hallelujah. God is faithful! What a blessing to be able to complete 11 Bible courses for the glory of God. Lord willing, May 2017 should be our first full month of scheduled meetings and then we will look to travel North.
Thanks be to God for His mercy and grace and provision.
Your servant for Jesus' sake,
Joshua Corner

Prayer Card
Praising the Lord! We have our prayer card done and are ready to start sending them out! Let us know if you want one.
We have moved again; actually we've moved 5 times since January 1st. I guess that means it's official and we're on deputation! God has provided every time that I looked ahead and couldn't see how it would work. I'm praising the Lord for His wonderful works to the children of men!
We have our first meeting scheduled in a couple of weeks and are excited! It's at the church I grew up in, in Perry, FL, and I can't wait to see my church family there and present the ministry to them. Our video presentation is almost complete as well as other materials needed to present the ministry to churches. We hope to have all in place by our first meeting. Again, God has blessed in each step and continues to confirm His call to us to go to Dominican Republic!
I wanted to mention our prayer request post. I update that post along with the "Answered Prayer", "Praises", and "Prayer Requests" on the side of our blog. I am so thrilled and blessed when I'm able to put "ANSWERED" on those prayer requests! Please pray for us!

December/January Happenings
We made it through the holidays! What a special time it was to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with our friends and family. We attended lots of get-togethers and parties and as much fun as we had, we're glad to move into the new year.
November, December, and January have held some challenges that we weren't expecting, but God has given us grace and strength through each one. He told us in 2 Cor. 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." And He has yet again held to His promise!
We have blessed to have been able to move a whole lot closer to our home church for the next couple of months as we finish preparing for deputation and hand over different ministries at church. God has provided the perfect place to stay while in transition and we are praising Him! And this all came about because of some flies. As yucky as it was, we're praising the Lord for the drain flies.
We are putting the finishing touches on our prayer card, and can't wait to send them out! Let us know if you would like one, send us your address, and we'll get one to you. We're looking forward to traveling on deputation and visiting churches this year!
Going into this brand new year that the Lord has given us, "...let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:" Hebrews 10:24 We are so blessed to have another year, another chance to live for God and go out and tell the world about Jesus. Let's love God, love one another, and tell the world about our Saviour!

Thanks, Thanks, I give You thanks!
It's the Thanksgiving season! I LOVE this time of year. I love the fall! The scents, the colors, and the festive atmosphere. I really love hearing all of the things people are thanking God for! We have SO much to thank Him for!
There are many, many things I thank God for in my life. I can go on and on and on and on and on....! Once I start I can hardly stop! But I have a specific praise on my heart tonight. I'm praising the Lord for my fellow believers in Christ. God has knit us together as brothers and sisters in Christ! We are family! We may not go to the same church, or agree on every single thing. And some of us have yet to meet! But we share the same Father! And He has given us the same Spirit! Ephesians 4:4-6 How blessed we are!
God wants us, the body of Christ, to be unified! Psalm 133:1 To work TOGETHER to bring glory to God, to share the gospel to a lost and dying world, and to help each other along our journey while we are here on earth. I have many brothers and sisters who do this with my family and I...some in our local church family and some not! I'm praising the Lord for each and every one of you! It's a blessing and a pleasure to work alongside of you!
Like Paul ended his letter to the church in Corinth:
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. 1Cor. 16:23-24
